76-year old man robbed at knifepoint, Police seeking suspect

On January 13th, 2018 at approximately 9pm, Officers Derek Pereira and Michael McConnell of the Fall River Police Departments Uniform Division were dispatched to the 600 Block of North Main Street in regards to an Armed Robbery.

On arrival, they spoke to a 76 year old male who stated that as he was getting out of his car, he dropped a bag. As he retrieved it he observed a “skinny white male in his early 20’s, wearing a black jacket and flat brim hat with a red brim” approach him. This male stated to the complainant, “It’s your money or your life”.

The complainant thought it was a joke until the male brandished a black pocket knife. The complainant handed over his wallet. The male entered the driver’s side of a black sedan, possibly a Nissan, reversed out of the parking lot and sped away.

The suspect is described as:

• White male
• Skinny
• Early 20’s
• Wearing a Black Jacket
• Flat brim hat with a red brim
• Driving a black sedan possible Nissan
